A PSV fan who attacked Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic in a Europa League football match has been banned from entering a Dutch stadium for 40 years, club Eindhoven announced on Monday.
The punishment imposed by the Dutch club joins the sentence already known in court to three months in prison, of which two have come into force and one has a suspended sentence.
On February 23, in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16, Dilano K., a 20-year-old fan, entered the field to attack the Spanish goalkeeper.
During the incident, Marko Dmitrovic resisted aggression until security agents entered the field to apprehend Dilano K.
The aggressor, who in the meantime lost his job and was expelled from the sports team he was on, had a blood alcohol level of 1.6 g/l and had previously been banned from entering the PSV stadium twice, so he even had to watch the match with the Spaniards live.
After serving two months of an effective sentence, Dilano K. will be on probation for two years.
