The director of the PSP, Magina da Silva, said that “it’s not worth inventing” and asks for tougher punitive measures. He warned of “verbal abuse from club representatives”. “We need not to increase the adrenaline of the fans, but to calm them down.”
The PSP deploys up to 900 cops to major games and prevents “disasters every weekend,” he said.
