This Saturday, Portugal played their last training session at Cidade do Futebol in Oeiras ahead of Sunday’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Luxembourg in which all players were on the pitch.
In the first 15 minutes of training, which started at 10:15 am, coach Roberto Martinez had all 25 players that make up the squad and who would thus be available for the Group J second round match.
After lunch, at 2:15 pm, the Portuguese delegation leaves for Luxembourg, and at 6:00 pm (7:00 pm local time), Roberto Martinez and a yet-to-be-nominated player will take part in a preview match against the Red Lions. press conference at the Stade from Luxembourg.
At the start of Group J, in Alvalada, Portugal thrashed Liechtenstein 4-0, with captain Cristiano Ronaldo taking an encore and Luxembourg achieving an unexpected draw in Slovakia (0-0).
The match is scheduled for 19:45 (20:45 local time) on Sunday at the Stade de Luxembourg, a modern stadium opened in July 2021, and will be refereed by Romanian Radu Petrescu.
