Ibai Gomez and Deportivo reached an agreement to break the contract that united them and the footballer announced that retires from professional football.
The Galician club confirmed the end of relationship that began last summer with the Basque footballer, who turns 33 on Friday.
Deportivo thanked him for his work during this stage as a blue and white team and wished him the greatest success in his personal and professional future.
Ibai Gomez will say goodbye this Wednesday at a press conference in the sports city Abegondo.

The Bilbao player arrived at Deportivo in July and signed for one season with the possibility of extending his relationship with the club.
