The most recent victim was an agent in his mid-40s who worked for Almada’s PSP unit and who this Monday used his service weapon to commit suicide.
The day before, on Sunday, a 48-year-old police officer from the Seixal unit was found dead by people in the Cavadas area.
In February, a police officer in Tomar, a father of two, used a colleague’s service weapon. On the first day of the year, a 30-year-old PSP agent from Almada stopped her car on the April 25 bridge and rushed off.
