Weightlifting coach posed as a woman for women’s competition and broke the record

The Canadian weightlifting coach set a record in women’s weightlifting competition after stating on March 25 that he identifies himself as a woman. Avi Silverberg lifted about 167 kg in competition. Silverberg said she chose to enter the race to show her position against an organization that allows anyone who identifies as a woman to enter the competition.
