Germany is Portugal’s rival in the quarter-finals of the World Roller Hockey Championship.

The Portuguese team will take on Germany tonight in the quarter-finals of the Roller Hockey World Cup in San Juan, Argentina, after the Germans beat Mozambique this Thursday in the play-offs (3-2).

With a difference of a few hours and after closing in the first position of Group B of the Intercontinental Cup (Second World Division) with an 11-0 defeat against Australia on Wednesday, Germany will face the world champions in the title, after defeating Mozambique in the “play -off”.

Niko Morović and Lukas Karskov (2) scored goals for the German national team, while Renato Castaneira and Bruno Pinto converted goals from Mozambique, who finished fourth in Group B with the only defeats, which was won by hosts Argentina.

Germany secured their presence in the playoffs for reaching the quarter-finals of the World Cup by winning group B of the second world division, beating Austria (4-1), Andorra (4-2) and Australia (11-2). 0).

The World Cup quarter-finals, which will take place from Thursday evening to Friday morning in San Juan, Argentina, will feature the following games:

Spain-France

Portugal-Germany

Angola-Italy

Argentina’s opponent will be determined this Thursday afternoon in a dispute between Chile and Colombia.
