Euskaraz irakurri: Naia Amondarain eta Mireia Trias Laboral Kutxan arituko dira
Naia Amondarainfor two seasons (2023 and 2024) and Mireia Triasfor one (2023), have joined the Laboral Kutxa. In this way, the women’s professional team of the Euskadi Foundation will have the complete podium of this year’s U23 Spanish Championship. For its part, Mireia Arriazu Y Ariana Gilbert they have renewed their contracts and will continue one more season in the Basque squad.
Idoia Eraso achieved gold in Mallorca; Amondarain was silver and Trías, bronze. Next season the three will defend the same colors of a youth project that aspires to be a WorldTour team from 2024.
“I am happy to be part of this project and this team. After three years at Sopela, a change like this gives you uncertainty, in this case positive. I really want to meet my teammates, form a group and continue progressing. I want to give everything and we hope to achieve the group and individual objectives”, declared Amondarain.
Runner-up in Spain and Euskadi U23 champion in 2022, and present in races such as Itzulia, the European Championship or the Tour de Ardèche, Amondarain also stands out on the track, with three golds in the Spanish Championships this year.
Likewise, Arriazu and Gilabert have renewed for one season, until 2023. The young woman from Navarra is fully recovered from the serious fall she suffered in June in the Spanish Cup test in Valladolid.
