Euskaraz irakurri: Reala, etxean bezala Cazalegasen aurkako Kopako lehen parten
The Real society and the municipal field ‘The meadow’ of Talavera of the Queenwhere the Basque team will face Leafhunter this Sunday, they have been united for several years, since the Talavera stadium has installed about 1,500 seats from the old stadium of Anoeta.
It is in the lateral stand of the field where the seats that were donated by the Basque entity after the remodeling of its stadium are located.
The seats arrived in Talavera de la Reina in 2019, after the request made by the former president of the CF Talavera to the Royal Society so that during the course of the works on the Anoeta municipal stadium the seats, which are the same color as those on the local pitch, were donated to “El Prado”.
Real Sociedad began the remodeling works of its stadium in 2017 and finished in 2019, thanks to which its capacity was expanded to 40,000 spectators, since the athletics tracks that were located in the stadium were eliminated.
Currently, the football field of the Real has gone from being called ‘note’ a ‘Royal Arena’ for advertising reasons. Likewise, his old seats were donated, also, to teams from categories lower than the first division, among them, to the stadium ‘Loinaz’ of the team beasain (Guipúzcoa) of the second RFEF or to the ‘San Francisco‘ of Pena Sport FC (Navarra) of third RFEF.
The capacity of the ‘El Prado’ municipal stadium increased in 2019 with the arrival of the Anoeta seats, up to 5,000 seats and you can distinguish those that were donated by the Basque club, since behind each seat there is still a sticker with the Real Sociedad shirt that says “Always United”, in Spanish and Basque, and a number 12 which represents the fans.
In this way, Real Sociedad will feel ‘at home’ when they face CF Cazalegas this weekend in the first phase of the Copa del Reyalthough it will be the latter that receives the support of the fans that are there.
