PSD this Monday called on the Finance Minister to “fully clarify” the appointment of the Infrastructure Minister’s wife to his ministry after TVI reported that the appointment was never published in the Diário da República.
On Monday, TVI’s “Exclusivo” program reported that Laura Abreu Cravo, wife of current Infrastructure Minister João Galamba, has been coordinating the Department of Financial Services in the Ministry of Finance, headed by Fernando Medina, for a year, although the nomination has never been published in Diário da República.
The Ministry of Finance told TVI that Laura Abreu Cravo is an original employee of the Securities Market Commission (CMVM) and works for GPEARI. [Gabinete de Planeamento, Estratégia, Avaliação e Relações Internacionais] under the Assignment of Public Interest Agreement.
