Real Sociedad has renewed the contract of its coach, Imanol Sheriffuntil 2025, the Gipuzkoan club reported this Monday. Both parties had already anticipated in recent weeks the closeness of an agreement that has seen the light once the team has reached the break due to the World Cup in Qatar.
Alguacil took charge of the team for the first time in March 2018, replacing Eusebio Sacristán and debuted with a 0-0 win in Ipurua against Eibar.
