In a statement posted on the official website, Red Devil suggest that they are closely following all the media coverage of this topic, emphasizing that the team is focused on continuing to prepare for the second half of the season, following the work that has been done since the beginning of the year along with all the players, coaches and fans.

Manchester United’s statement in full:

Manchester United have been monitoring media coverage of Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview. The club will consider your answer after all the facts are known.
