This Saturday, the Sporting de Silvalde supporters entered into a physical confrontation with the supporters of Ossela de Oliveira de Azemeis.
Within seconds, the atmosphere in Pavilhão da Nave Desportiva de Espinho was out of control. Two athletes, one from each team, who were excluded from the match during the first half, met again on the bench during the game. Even the presence of children and the elderly, some on crutches, did not prevent violent moments.
The Sporting de Silvalde athlete was injured and was hospitalized. The PSP has been called and the Espinho club intends to file a complaint against the aggressor.
The match between the two clubs is not over and it also comes down to sports justice. When the match was abandoned, the scoreboard was 3-3 in a game counting towards the Aveiro Football Association district champions’ qualifying round.
