Porto player supported at his mother’s funeral

The funeral of Steven Eustaquio’s mother, Esmeralda, took place this Monday at the Igreja Matriz da Pederneira in Nazaré, and the Porto midfielder has received the support of many colleagues and friends from the world of football.

The blue and white club was represented by several elements, including Vice President Victor Baia, coach Sergio Conceicao and teammates Pepe, Marcano, Otavio and Manafa.

Ricardo Esgayo, a Sporting CP player and friend of the blue and white, also wanted to attend, as did Steven Vitoria of Desportivo de Chavez, who is a teammate on Team Canada.

Recall that the mother of Stephen Eustaquio died from a long illness last Saturday during the game Porto against Santa Clara at the stadium “Dragao”. Sergio Conceição broke the news to the Porto midfielder at the end of the match. The Canadian player left in the 56th minute.
