Singer-songwriter Izaura, who recently edited the new album of originals “Invisível”, will present the new songs live this Friday, April 21st, at a concert at the Musicbox in Lisbon. The performance is scheduled to start at 22:00.
In this show on the “+ Invisível” tour, Isaura presents a hybrid concept: electronic “in beats, bass, voice and sample manipulation” but also “very organic in the addition of drums, guitars and synths”.
“We wanted to convey the songs from ‘Invisível’ very well, so it’s a mix. Then the pandemic came and the concerts stopped. This concert closes the cycle,” he explained. cm.
“Invisível” includes twelve new songs, including the singles “Viagem”, “A Noite Não Conta”, “Leve” and “Glória”, a song he dedicated to his mother and which completes the album. The composition of all themes is also signed by Isaura, who for the first time made an album entirely in Portuguese.
“These are the most honest and true songs I have ever written. There are phrases that make me uncomfortable. But it is this discomfort that makes me feel like the job is done,” he says.
The interview with the artist can be read in full tomorrow in Vidas magazine.
