Two people died and ten were injured in a fire at an Italian restaurant in Madrid, Spain late Friday. According to the newspaper a countrythe flames began due to an accident near the entrance to the institution, which would have made it difficult to escape and rescue the victims.
Some bystanders at the Burro Canaglia Bar&Restoe told a Spanish newspaper that one of the waiters was finishing his meal with a torch as he walked past a column of artificial plants, and within seconds everything started to burn.
The alarm for firefighters was announced around 23:00 local time (00:00 in Portugal). Of the ten injured, six are in serious condition and have been hospitalized in the nearest hospital departments.
