Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nasr misses Saudi Arabian Cup final after empty third match

The third game in a row without scoring goals for Al Nasr, played by Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo, this Monday meant elimination in the semi-finals of the Saudi Arabian Football Cup at home to Al Wehda (0-1).

The emblem is now led by Croatian Dinko Jelicic, who has two losses in two matches, was eliminated in the final against Al Hilal by Frenchman Bozel, the “hero” of the underdogs, when he scored the only goal of the game, at 23 minutes.

As for Ronaldo, team captain and top star of Riyadh’s formation, he also added a goalless third match, saying goodbye to a new title opportunity on his debut on Saudi soil after losing the Super Bowl.

In the Saudi Arabian League, Al-Nasr are second with 53 points in 24 games to 56 by Al-Ittihad leader Nuno Espirito Santo of Portugal, who has played 23 games.
