Sporting Braga in the Portuguese Cup final for the 8th time

On Tuesday, Sporting de Braga reached the Portuguese Cup final for the eighth time after drawing two goals against Nacional in the second leg of the semi-finals.

After almost scoring a 5-0 draw in Madeira, Artur Jorge’s Eleven won 2-0 with goals from Serb Urus Racic in the 33rd minute from a penalty kick and Rodrigo Gomes in the 48th minute. Brazilians Clayton (72) and Dudu (90 + 3) restored equality from the penalty spot.

The Arsenal squad, which is now waiting for the winner of the semi-final between Famalicao and Porto, has won three tournament victories in 1965/66, 2015/16 and 2020/21, as well as four lost finals in 1976/77, 1981 /82, 1997/98 and 2014/15.

The final of the Portuguese Cup is scheduled for June 4, Sunday, at the National Stadium in Jamor from 17:00.
