Russia accuses Alexei Navalny of terrorism, according to the Russian news agency TASS. Vladimir Putin’s opponent has already figured in another lawsuit for running what Russia considers an “extremist organization.”
“The investigator told me that a case of terrorism would be brought against me and that I would be tried by a military court,” Navalny said. Later, this information was confirmed by the Basmanny Court of Moscow.
Recall, on May 24, a 46-year-old politician and activist was sentenced by a Moscow court to nine years in prison for insults in court, fraud in raising funds for an election campaign, and violating the conditions of parole.
