He Osasuna Athletic Club will pay homage this Friday, in the run-up to the derby that will be played against the Real societyto the players who reached the final of the King’s Cup in 2005.
The club has managed to bring together some twenty members of said squad who achieved runner-up in that edition after lose to Real Betis (2-1) in extra time of that match played on June 11, 2005 at the Vicente Calderón in front of more than 20,000 red fans.
The squad, which was directed by Javier Aguirrewill jump onto the pitch at El Sadar before the initial whistle to receive the affection of a fan who will once again travel en masse, in this case to Seville, to achieve what the following footballers could not, lift the Cup.
paul garcia, Patxi Dagger, savo milosevic, Ivan Rosado, Rafael Clavero, Pierre Webo, Juanma Ortiz, Carlos Cuellar, Quique Corrales, david lopez, Unai Exposito, Juantxo Elía, Miguel Flano, Gonzalo Eraso, Richard Sanzol, Josetxo Romero, Cesar Cruchaga, valdo, Ludovic Delporte and Moha have confirmed their presence for the event.
