Alfi Haaland, the father of Norwegian player Erling Haaland, was removed from the showroom where he watched a Champions League game between Real Madrid and Manchester City on Tuesday after arguing with the Spanish club’s fans.
In accordance with El Pais, Real Madrid alleges that the Manchester City striker’s father and entourage were sent to another cabin as they caused problems with club partners.
On Twitter, Alfie Haaland denied a post made by a Real Madrid fan page claiming that the former footballer would have thrown peanuts towards merengue fans.
“Good. I didn’t do it. We made fun of the Real Madrid fans a little. They were unhappy when City scored a goal. Typical. We had to move 50 meters away. It’s okay,” the father of the Norwegian scorer wrote. Twitter.
Real Madrid and Manchester City will meet again next Wednesday, April 17, in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.
