Twenty-five fans have been denied access to sports facilities by a decision by the Office for the Prevention and Control of Violence in Sports (APCVD), which on Tuesday reported a total of 48 judgments this month.
According to the APCVD communiqué released on Tuesday, there were 48 convictions of a decisive nature, that is, without the possibility of appeal, which led to 24 bans from stadiums.
Most of them, 18, involved the use or use of pyrotechnics at sporting events, five of them were punished for throwing objects and one case for “acting or inciting violence.”
Among the sanctions imposed last month is a 56-year-old woman living in Lagoa, Azores, who paid 1,000 euros and was denied access to sports facilities “for racist insults to the referee” of a figure skating competition in San Miguel. outside.
Another fan, aged 43, threw an object at the Gois Cova Gala referee from the Coimbra under-19 area, while a 19-year-old fan from Mafra was fined and banned from walking. to the stadiums for fireworks at the Benfica-Sporting stadium on the day of the 16th round of the Portuguese Football League.
