Why was I blocked on Discord? The “Sorry, you’ve been blocked” message is explained and indicates when it was sent.

Discord is experiencing issues that are preventing users from accessing the social media platform.

The problem appears to have started just before 11am on Friday, when thousands of people made complaints through online crash tracker Down Detector.

Discord has announced that it is investigating the issue. Support posted a message

The problem appears to affect both the application and the web browser. People who try to access the platform receive a “Sorry, you are blocked” message.

Many users are speculating that the outage is related to scheduled Cloudflare maintenance, but this has not been confirmed.

There are some reports that restarting the Discord web app may resolve the issue.
