He Zamudio Technology Park welcomes today the first Euskadi Applied Artificial Intelligence Congressknown as ApplAI. Promoted by the Basque Artificial Intelligence Center (BAIC), the event seeks to be an innovative platform to share knowledge, trends and experiences in the field of artificial intelligence, thus consolidating “Euskadi as a leader in the application of this technology.”
The opening ceremony will take place at 09:30 hours with the presence, among others, of the Lehendakari Inigo Urkullu and the acting Minister of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment Arantxa Tapia. From the organization they affirm that ApplAI is not just a congress, “but a meeting point of great impact for the Artificial Intelligence ecosystem in Euskadi.” Thus, BAIC aims to “bring together all the actors involved in this ecosystem to face a common objective: to promote the implementation of AI in Euskadi, marking a milestone in our commitment to technological advancement and innovation in the region.”
The event will feature the participation of prominent professionals in the sector such as Javier Del Ser, Itziar Landa Torres and Gemma Nogales Ramirez. They will address topics such as technological trends in AI, the challenges of its application and attracting talent in this era.
