Tesco Mobile down? UK customers report problems with phone network

Tesco Mobile users have been affected by a glitch that prevents them from making calls and sending and receiving messages.

Hundreds of people have reported the issue to the Down Detector online troubleshooting tool and the problems seem to have started just after 11am.

Tesco Mobile services operate on the O2 network, which is also out of service.

One customer commented on Twitter: “Calls are not connected, SMS/MMS are not sent. Area BH12. Called Tesco Mobile support, they didn’t know anything.

Tesco Mobile says it is aware of the issue and is investigating the cause.

Enter your zip code here to check the status of the Tesco Mobile network in your area.

Entering any zip code into the search bar currently results in a message saying “Looks like the nearest phone tower isn’t working properly, sorry. Our technicians are already working on this case and your service may come and go until we resolve it.
