If you’re struggling to find the right image to express yourself on your iPhone, help is now at your fingertips as Apple has introduced over 30 new emoji to get your message across.
The tech giant has added 31 new emoji to its collection, including a solid pink heart, a pod, and a donkey.
This latest icon pack arrived in the iOS 16.4 update released on Monday, March 27th.
Here’s what’s currently on offer in terms of emoji, what other new features are available, and how to get them.
What new emojis are available now?
According to emojipedia, all 31 recommended designs are from the September 2022 Unicode Emoji 15.0 recommendation list.
This includes choosing the left and right hands raised to indicate a nudge or stop gesture, or placed next to each other to create a new high-five emoji.
New animals include elk, goose and donkey.
The vibrating face was added to express vibrations from external forces such as earthquakes or loud noises, or internal emotions such as shock, disbelief or excitement.
And three new hearts have been added to the collection – pink, light blue and gray.

What other new features will appear in the update?
The new software not only offers a host of new emoji to spice up messages, but also offers improvements for phone calls and web app push notifications.
iOS 16.4 provides voice isolation for mobile calls by reducing ambient noise during calls.
This feature was already available in apps like WhatsApp or FaceTime, but in iOS 16.4 it can be accessed by swiping down from the top right corner of the screen to find Control Center, tapping “Microphone Mode” and then “Voice Isolation” .
Apple has confirmed that Voice Isolation is compatible with any iPhone model released with or after iPhone SE (2020).
Notifications have also changed to be sent to users when the user has a web app pinned to their home screen.
Notifications have also been redesigned, appearing at the bottom of the lock screen and appearing in an expanded list, stacked, or hidden.
Other system improvements include support for sounding maps in the Weather app, keyboard changes to support native languages such as Chickasaw and Choctaw, and accessibility tweaks to automatically dim videos when a blink or strobe is detected.
How to get the new update
The new iOS 16.4 update is available for iPhone 8 and later.
To access the update, open the Settings app on your device, select General, then Software Update.
Select download and then install.
