BeReal has become a major player in the social media world in 2022.
It positioned itself as a genuine app to share your daily life with friends, and by August 2022, it had attracted 73.5 million users.
But now everything has changed.
What is the BeReal Bonus?
In BeReal, users are notified once a day at a random two minute interval. The app takes a picture using the phone’s front and back cameras to show what the user is doing.
The image is then sent to the feed, where you and your friends can comment on each other’s photos using “RealMojis” – photos of you making the same face as the emoji, making your comment more personal.
The two-minute time limit doesn’t give you time to pose and make noise around you – there are no filters or editing tools, just front and rear camera footage. This means being more honest with your friends about what you do with your time.
Bonus BeRel is a new feature for UK users. This means that you can post more often than you currently do, i.e. once a day.
The website says, “Now you can share two extra BeReals per day. All you have to do is post on time. Bonus BeReal is currently available in select regions.”
How to publish?

But what if you want to delete your BeReal?
“Removing your BeReal will also remove your bonus BeReal.
“You cannot post a Bonus BeReal if you delete your BeReal and then post a pending BeReal.
“You can remove and re-post your BeReal bonus as many times as you like. However, keep calm!

- Click on your BeReal bonus to open it in full preview.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
- Select the delete option.
- Select the reason for deleting your BeReal bonus and confirm.”
