The music platform has added 11 new languages and dialects to mobile devices, including Basque and Galician.
The music platform Spotify, which was born in 27 languages and added 36 more in 2021, seeks more audiences with the admission of 11 new languages and dialects on mobile devices starting this Monday, bringing the total number to 74among which are the Basque and the Galician.
This expansion will “unlock an even more personal experience” for its users, “giving them the ability to access Spotify in their native or local language,” which will encourage “more connections between creators and their audiences”the platform reported this Monday.
In addition to Basque, the new language additions are Spanish for Argentina and Mexico, traditional Chinese (Hong Kong), Arabic (Egypt, Morocco and Saudi Arabia), Bosnian, Macedonian and English from the United Kingdom.
