German environmentalists have started the fight against children and demand money for childlessness.

Climate activists have launched an anti-fertility movement in Germany (Gebärstreik-Bewegung) and are demanding payment for the voluntary abandonment of offspring, writes the Austrian newspaper eXXpress on May 1st.

The marathon against the birth of children was launched by Verena Brunschweiger, stating that “Children are the number one climate killer.” Climate advocates claim that an unborn person can save 58.6 tons of CO2 equivalent per year. Giving up the car saves only 2.4 tons per year in comparison.

Brunschweiger demanded that childless couples be rewarded 50,000 euros (4.35 million rubles) for saving CO2 and thus saving the planet.

The eXXpress newspaper points out that not only women who get sterilized are willing to leave their children, but also men who, to save the climate, have a vasectomy.
