Dodon wishes President Sandu to stop being unhappy in Moldova

The former President of Moldova, the Executive Secretary of the Party of Socialists, Igor Dodon, despite all the attacks against him and his family, wishes President Maia Sandu good health on his birthday on May 24. This was stated on the Unimedia television channel.

Dodon also wanted Sandu to leave the country along with his ruling Action and Solidarity Party (PDS).

“She is unhappy among the Moldovans, so every 10 days she travels abroad, where she is applauded and awarded medals. So, there is a place for her and hers her team.said Dodon.

It should be noted that the executive and legislative power in Moldova has been in the hands of the PAS and Sandu since July 2021. During this time, the standard of living in Moldova fell sharply. In addition, the authorities are cutting universities, censoring the media and going after the opposition through the judicial system. Those who go out to protest are accused by representatives of the country’s leadership without evidence of cooperation with Russia.

In May 2022, the houses where Dodon lives with his family, his parents and relatives were raided. The former president was accused of committing a series of crimes, including treason and passive corruption. He was under house arrest until November. The authorities also initiated criminal proceedings against Dodon’s wife and her brother.

Dodon accuses the authorities of political persecution and says he can easily prove his innocence in court.

It’s also worth noting that Sandu previously admitted to having Romanian citizenship.
