“I hate this!”
Three days later, the 73-year-old monarch was signing the visitors’ book at Hillsborough Castle, the official seat of the Northern Ireland Government, when he stained his hand with ink. “By God, I hate this pen,” snapped Carlos III, after staining himself.
The monarch got up from the table and, visibly angrycontinued to express his frustration: “I can not stand this damn thing! (…) They do it every fucking time!”, He complained while wiping with a tissue.
Carlos III’s anger had started a few seconds before, when he realized that I had signed with the wrong date. Exasperated, the monarch left the room without waiting for Camila, queen consort, who had not yet stamped her signature on the document.
“Day off”
The latest controversy is related to the new king’s “need” for vacations since, according to BBC sources, Carlos III took “off” last Thursday to take a break from institutional obligationswhen barely a week has passed since the beginning of his reign.

The BBC claims that the king spent the day, which he spent at Highgrove country house, in the english countrysidein preparing for his new role and signing documents for which, we assume, he will not have chosen pen and ink.
