This Sunday, a 30-year-old man set fire to the house of his parents, who were inside the house, in Barcelos.
The incident took place around 6:30 p.m. after a man had an argument with his girlfriend at the door of his parents’ house. The woman was attacked by a suspect who threw stones at the windshield of a car parked outside the house.
After the aggression, the man entered the parents’ house, barricaded himself in the room and set it on fire. Neighbors reported the fire to authorities.
The suspect’s parents were rescued at the scene after inhaling smoke.
The house was uninhabited. The parents of the suspect stayed in the house of one of the daughters
The suspect was detained at the place of the GNR, the arrival of the judicial police is expected.
