This Saturday, a train derailed and fell into the Yellowstone River in Montana, a state in the western United States.
According to the authorities, quoted by the news channel Fox Business, the accident led to the spill of fuel into the river. No injuries were reported.
The Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that “resources are deployed and multiple agencies are providing assistance. There is no immediate threat to Yellowstone County.”
“Several tank cars were damaged. Precautions are being taken. Access for local fishing will be closed. Water treatment plants, irrigation districts and industries are taking the necessary precautions,” he adds.
