Eight rebels killed in Russian shelling of barracks in northern Syria

At least eight members of the Levant Liberation Organization were killed Tuesday in a series of Russian air raids on rebel barracks in northern Syria’s Idlib province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

Russia, an ally of the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, launched seven airstrikes on the headquarters of the Islamic Alliance, located in the Habal al-Zawiya region, the United Kingdom-based NGO said in a statement. and a wide network of collaborators in the field.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) said eight members of the “Hamza Division belonging to the Levant Liberation Organization” were killed and an unspecified number of them were injured to varying degrees.
