Three men aged 20 to 59 and a young man aged 16 to 21 were killed and two children aged two and 13 were injured Monday in a shooting in Philadelphia in the northeastern United States, Reuters reported.
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said at a press conference that all of the dead and wounded were men.
Security forces responded to the alarm at 8:30 pm Monday (1:30 am Tuesday in Lisbon) and arrived on the scene to find several people with gunshot wounds.
A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the attack. The man was wearing a bulletproof vest and a police scanner.
A second person was also detained. According to Reuters, police believe he shot the attacker.
