The Malaysian Ministry of Education is ready to hold a series of meetings with any interested party to clear up misunderstandings about the implementation of Imam An-Nawawi’s 40 hadith assessment module in schools across the country, the Malaysian Ministry of Education said on August 27. Vice Minister of Education, Lim Hui Ying. , according to the Malaysian Post.
He reiterated that only Muslim teachers and students would participate in the implementation of the module.
“Everyone knows that this ‘Hadith 40’ module is only for Muslim students and teachers, we at the ministry hope that this issue will not be discussed again.”she said.
He also underlined that the confusion arose because several non-governmental organizations began to express concern about the introduction of this module in schools, which later gave rise to various speculations.
