Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered a “partial military mobilization” of the Russian population to “liberate” the Ukrainian region from donbas. In a televised message, the leader made the announcement arguing that “the majority of the people in the region do not want to be under the yoke of Ukraine again.”
The mobilization, which according to Putin has specified, begins today, Wednesday, supposes the activation of ex-military and citizens in reserve.
The announcement comes after the pro-Russian leaders of Donbas announced referendums for its annexation by Russia.
