The advisor to the Ukrainian president, Mijailo Podolyak, has resorted to irony to highlight the failure, which in his opinion, Russia’s initial plans have entailed.
Mikhailo Podolyakadviser to the Ukrainian president, Volodímir Zelenski, has assured that the war of aggression against Ukraine that Russia hoped would last three days has finally resulted in a “partial military mobilization”, contrary to Moscow’s initial plans.
“It was day 210 of the ‘three-day war’. The Russians, who demanded the destruction of Ukraine, ended up receiving mobilization, border closures, bank accounts blocked, prison for desertion and special units in private paramilitary organizations. Still going according to plan, right? Life has a great sense of humor,” Podolyak ironized in a message posted on his Twitter account.
This is the first reaction by Ukraine to the decision announced today by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
