Cristiano Ronaldo will sue Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo will file a lawsuit against Juventus. According to an Italian newspaper Sports newspaperThe Portuguese star wants to repay the €19.9 million in salary that the Bianconero club still owe him.

After requesting documents from the Turin prosecutor’s office, Ronaldo decided to sue the club he represented between 2018 and 2021.

During the Covid-19 football shutdown, Juventus had to negotiate with players to temporarily give up part of their salaries so that the Italian club could cope with the problems arising from the shutdown.

The captain of the Portuguese team now wants to get the money that he then managed without.

Like Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala also decided to sue the Turin club. The player, who now plays for Jose Mourinho’s Roma, eventually reached an agreement with Juve to receive the approximately three million euros he was owed.
