The strong head-on collision between two vehicles that occurred this Wednesday at 6:54 am on IP2, near kilometer 174, near Portalegre, resulted in injuries to three people and even severed an artery in both directions.
This was reported by an official source in civil defense. CM that the collision took place in the district of Se and San Lorenzo, Portalegre.
“An 80-year-old woman suffered serious injuries, while a 30-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man received minor injuries,” the same source explained.
The victims were taken to Portalegre Hospital.
21 operational personnel and 10 vehicles from the fire brigade, GNR and PSP Portalegre as well as Portalegre infrastructure were mobilized to the scene.
IP2 was once disabled in both directions, but at the moment it only travels in one direction.
