Russell Brand accuses the British government of colluding with big tech companies to censor him

comedian Russell Brand, accused by four women of rape, sexual and emotional abuse between 2006 and 2013, This Friday he accused the British government and big tech companies of conspiring to censor him.

“The government asked big tech companies to censor our content, and they complied,” he said in a video posted on social media site X/Twitter, alluding to YouTube’s decision to demonetize the content it produces.

Russell Brand referred to the “new internet safety laws” in the UK, arguing that they enshrined “censorship rights”.

Finally, the comedian announced that next Monday he will release a video on the streaming platform Rumble about “corruption and censorship in the media.”

“I need your support more than ever,” he said to people who follow him on social media.
