The autumn recruitment campaign has begun in Adygea

The autumn recruitment campaign has begun in the Republic of Adygea, the head of the region, Murat Kumpilov, announced on his Telegram channel on October 2.

He said that about 400 people will be called up for military service in the republic. Recruits from Adygea will serve in different regions of Russia; recruits will not be sent to the military training zone. Kumpilov also stressed that this is a planned annual event.

Men from 18 to 27 years old will be recruited, the period of service will be 1 year. “But starting next year, the maximum recruitment age will increase to 30 years old; the corresponding law will take effect on January 1, 2024.”Kumpilov noted.

The head of the region entrusted the heads of municipalities and departments and local military commissars with the task of ensuring that the autumn conscription is carried out at a high level of organization and quality.

Previously, the Ministry of Defense announced the dates of the autumn conscription in the Russian Federation. It will begin at the usual time, on October 1, and will take place in all constituent entities of Russia, including the new regions – the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR), as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye.
