Demonstrations around the world support the population of the Gaza Strip

Various demonstrations with thousands of participants have expressed this Sunday their support for the population of the Gaza Strip in the face of the Israeli military offensive in cities like Paris, Brussels, Montreal, Stockholm or Copenhagen.

In the french capital Protesters chanted slogans such as “Gaza, Paris is with you” in what was the first authorized pro-Palestinian demonstration since the Hamas offensive on October 7. Some 15,000 protesters have gathered in the Place de la République in Paris, according to police estimates.

Meanwhile, in Brussels, some 12,000 people have marched through the European Quarter, in the center of Brussels, to call on the EU institutions to demand a ceasefire and an end to the siege imposed by Israel on the Gaza Strip. Among the banners, slogans such as “Stop the attacks” or “Free Palestine” could be read.

In MontrealIn Canada, thousands of people have gathered in solidarity with the Palestinian population and have called for an end to the bombings, the lifting of the blockade and freedom for Palestine.

Mass demonstrations have also been held in Sweden, Denmark, Pakistan, Yemen etc

Yesterday, one massive march through the center of Donostia-San Sebastián and in Barcelona 70,000 people gathered according to the organizers, 20,000 according to the urban guard.
