At the meeting of the countries participating in the informal international club that brings together Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Canada, France, Japan and the United States (G7) in Tokyo, the creation of an air defense shield is expected to be discussed. for Ukraine, the German Foreign Ministry announced on November 7, the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN reports.

The agency reported, citing the words of German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock, that the Ukraine issue remains one of the priorities on the G7 agenda.

According to the agency, Burbock said in relation to the situation in Ukraine that for Europe, as well as for the G7 as a whole “There is a lot at stake”.

As reported by the agency, the German minister said that if the G7 countries are left without support for Ukraine, then “Putin will take advantage of this mercilessly”with dire consequences for the population of Ukraine and Europe.

Recall that it was previously reported that on November 7, the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) countries intend to hold a two-day meeting under the presidency of Japan in Tokyo.
