All 10 most watched programs on cable television on the day of Prime Minister Antonio Costa’s resignation were from CMTV.
“Notícias CM”, “Grande Jornal da Noite”, as well as watching the Porto game and the Champions League matchday are some of the formats that have earned the preference of the Portuguese.
The most watched program was “Notícias CM” in prime time, with a total audience of 577 thousand people.
A CMTV was the favorite national news television of the Portuguese people on the day of the Prime Minister’s resignation, outperforming all competitors during a day full of surprises and political twists and turns.
A television morning Post guaranteed an average daily share of 5.9% and 125,190 thousand viewers, while CNN Portugal recorded a share of only 4.3% with 91,260 thousand viewers and SIC Notícias 4.1% and 87,480 thousand viewers.
A CMTV has been the leader of the national information market for 19 months without interruption.
A CMTV airs on Channel 8 on all cable platforms, but not yet on DTT.
