Police found the body of 35-year-old Heather Schwab in her boyfriend’s refrigerator. Chad Stevens in Texas, USA, as it progresses FOX4News. According to a police statement, the victim had been missing for more than a year, but his body was only found this Sunday.
McKinney police obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s home on November 6, which they began by using drones to film the backyard. However, it was only when police entered the house that they discovered Schwab’s body, wrapped in a large amount of plastic, inside the refrigerator.
“The only entrance to the kitchen was suspiciously closed and hidden from the other occupants by a piece of stone,” the arrest warrant states, FOX4News reported.
After the discovery of the body and speaking with investigators, Stevens stated that his girlfriend died in July 2022 and admitted that he put her body in the refrigerator because he did not know what to do with it.
He told several different stories to explain what happened, but ultimately said his girlfriend died three days after she slipped in the shower and hit her head.
The woman was reported missing by her mother, who told investigators that she had not seen her daughter for about a year. According to the channel, they broke off their relationship because their daughter was using drugs.
