The far-right leader Giorgia Meloni (Brothers of Italy) who will be in charge of forming the next Italian government after winning the elections last Sunday at the head of the right-wing coalition, has assured today that she works “in a level team that will not disappoint” and has denied the information about possible ministers published by the press. In this sense, she has asked Italians “not to believe the lies that are circulating.”
“I keep reading unrealistic reconstructions about possible ministers of a center-right government. After failed efforts such as that of Speranza & Co (alluding to the Minister of Health of the previous Executive) I assure you that we work in a level team that will not disappoint you. No they believe the lies that circulate,” Meloni posted on Twitter, who has not made any public statements after his victory.
In that same social network, the new Italian leader has sent a message to Santiago Abascalpresident of Vox, to tell him that “he is also waiting for Spain on the right side”,

For its part, the League, led by Matteo Salvini and partner of Meloni in the government coalition together with the conservative Forza Italia of Silvio Berlusconi, has also published a note in which he assures that the phrases attributed to his secretary “are totally false”. “The center-right has swept the elections and will govern well and without divisions for the next few years. The left and its newspapers have to resign,” the statement said.
