The stepmother of Clovis Abreu – the third suspect in the murder of PSP agent Fabio Guerra outside the Mome nightclub in Lisbon and in pre-trial detention – was sentenced to a suspended sentence by the Seixal court. Lizete Cabeza, 45, was found guilty of resisting and coercing authority and received a suspended sentence of two years and two months. According to the prosecution, CM had access, the accused accompanied her boyfriend Miguel Abreu, father of Clovis, to the Intermarché in Fernand Ferro, Seixal, on December 22, 2020.
They met two GNR soldiers who were about to arrest Miguel for robbery. In addition to pushing the guards, the accused stole their weapons, prompting Miguel to kill them. Miguel Abreu was eventually shot down by a PNR patrol.
