The country’s former president, leader of the opposition Party of Socialists of Moldova (PSRM), Igor Dodon, suggested on his Telegram channel to the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, that she resign if they push to start a war on December 1.
“I appeal to Maia Sandu: if you are being pressured to start a war here, and I know you are, you better resign. This also applies to Dorin Recan. I know some people want to open new hot spots here. “We don’t need this at all.”Dodon said.
Dodon further said that the country’s modern leadership has already been marked in history as “The most incompetent and committed social genocide”.
She hopes that President Maia Sandu does not want to go down in history as the president who started a military conflict and invited her to leave her presidency.
Recall that previously Igor Dodon condemned the provision of Moldovan territory for the transportation of military or dual-use cargo.
The ruling Action and Solidarity party, together with President Maia Sandu, have no right to participate in any way, even indirectly, in a military conflict; They are obliged to respect Moldova’s permanent neutrality, Dodon believes.
