At least 174 people have died and 180 have been injured at a soccer match in Indonesia, in the province of Java Orienta, on Saturday night. Apparently, the fans of the teams that played the game have been pisteados and crushed while trying to flee from a disturbance.

FIFA, the governing body of world football, specifies in its security regulations that the commissioners and Police must not carry or use firearms or gases for crowd control.
Given this, the East Java police have not commented on whether they were aware of these regulations.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo, for his part, has said authorities must thoroughly assess security at matches, adding that he hopes Saturday’s match will be “the nation’s last football tragedy.” Similarly, he has ordered the suspension of all first league matches of Indonesia until an investigation into what happened is completed.
Also, the stadium housed more people than allowedsince 42,000 tickets had been sold for a stadium with a capacity of 38,000 people.
